What we do

Renewable Resource Recovery.

Resolve Global provides a practical pathway for end-of-life solar panels and renewable-energy equipment.

We collect, record, sort and prepare renewable-energy equipment for reuse, repurposing and specialist material recovery.

Our first facility in Byron Bay was created to solve a simple problem: Australia has installed millions of solar panels, but the infrastructure needed to responsibly manage those products at the end of their useful life has not developed at the same pace.

Resolve is helping close that gap.

Collection
Used solar panels stacked flat on two timber pallets inside the Byron Bay shed, roller door open to the yard

Somewhere responsible to take it.

We provide an accessible collection point for homeowners, solar installers, electricians, businesses, councils and asset owners.

Whether it is four panels from a home or hundreds of panels from a commercial project, our aim is to make responsible disposal straightforward.

Commercial and larger-volume collections can also be arranged.

Record

ReTrace App in action

Know what happened to it.

Traceability is central to the Resolve model.

Material entering our facility is recorded, with equipment able to be weighed, categorised and identified as part of the intake process.

Our developing ReTrace platform is being designed to improve this further by creating a digital record of renewable-energy equipment moving through the recovery chain.

For businesses, councils, government organisations and asset owners, this creates a clearer record of where equipment went rather than simply where it left.

03
Sort
Separated solar system components laid out on a workbench: aluminium mounting rail, coiled DC cable, stacked panel glass, two inverters and a pile of mounting brackets

Waste is not one material.

A solar system contains numerous materials and components with different potential pathways.

Panels, aluminium rail, cabling, inverters, electrical equipment and other components are separated and prepared according to their condition and appropriate downstream pathway.

Equipment with potential remaining life can be identified separately from genuine end-of-life material.

04
Repurpose
A used solar panel face up on a workbench with a digital multimeter resting on it, test leads connected to the junction box and MC4 connectors loose alongside

Use it before you destroy it.

Responsible resource recovery should begin with reuse.

Where equipment is suitable and there is a safe and legitimate pathway for reuse, Resolve aims to prioritise extending its useful life before recycling it.

As our capabilities grow, we intend to develop stronger testing, grading and repurposing pathways for suitable renewable-energy equipment.

05
Recover
Two open crates on the shed floor, one filled with crushed solar panel glass cullet and one with cut aluminium frame offcuts

Turning waste back into resources.

End-of-life equipment that cannot reasonably be reused is prepared for specialist downstream processing.

Through partnerships with recycling and material-recovery specialists, Resolve aims to help recover valuable resources contained within renewable-energy equipment and return those materials to productive use wherever commercially and technically possible.

ReTrace system Data & Reports

Better information creates better decisions.

Australia needs better information about what is happening to renewable-energy equipment at the end of its life.

Resolve intends to contribute to that knowledge.

The data generated through our operations can help build a clearer picture of volumes, equipment types, locations, transport requirements, reuse opportunities and material flows.

Over time, we believe this information can support better decisions by industry, manufacturers, councils, researchers and government.

Repurpose. Recycle. Report. Resolve.

We are building infrastructure for what comes after renewable energy.
